I suppose that I owe someone an explanation for my silence on this blog since December of last year. The answer is quite simple: the day after my post on James Mill, my son was born.

¶ No, I didn't name him "John Stuart" as a result.

In any case, I've had to restructure my time to keep on top of parenthood and academia, and my blogging has been put in deep freeze for the time being. I'll let you know when it starts to thaw.
